COMBAT BOYCOTT WITH BUY ISRAEL GOODS, MARCH 30
This entry was posted on November 12, 2013.
This Friday, March 30, is one we approach with trepidation. Israel's enemies, including Barack Obama's friend, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, are planning a Global March on Jerusalem (GMJ) to protest against the "Judaization" of Jerusalem. Millions of Muslims will supposedly be marching against Israel's borders. Israeli institutions in major cities will be threatened.
How did such an idea take hold? It ignores Israel's ancient and current claim to Jerusalem as its capital city. It ignores the fact that under Israeli sovereignty the churches, synagogues and mosques and all other holy places are protected by the IDF and Israeli police. It totally ignores the multi-cultural nature of Jerusalem.
And America's major Jewish organizations seem to be ignoring the threat also. Where are the outcries, the demonstrations, the street protests? All we hear from our so-called leaders is silence. The grass-roots groups are trying to raise awareness of this outrage with limited success. The media is complicit with the enemies of truth.
Compounding this abomination is the threat of a boycott of Israeli goods on the same day. This boycott would support the GMJ. One group has come up with a response - a BIG day - BUY ISRAEL GOODS. Although AFSI differs with StandWithUS in some respects - such as their continuing faith in a "peace process," we feel it is important for you to join their BIG program. See their information below and if nothing else, be sure to BUY BIG on Friday, March 30, to assert your pride as an American who loves Israel.

STANDWITHUS ANNOUNCES "BIG" (BUY ISRAELI GOODS) DAY FOR MARCH 30
Visit www.BuyIsraelGoods.org -The Web site includes a store locator so people can find stores in their area that carry Israeli products. The BIG campaign is a partnership between StandWithUs and the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce.
StandWithUs is encouraging Israel's supporters to take videos and photos of themselves purchasing the products and submit them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
StandWithUs created a flyer listing "Six Reasons You Should Oppose Boycotting Israel" at www.standwithus.com/flyers/pdfs/saynoboycottsflyer3.pdf. One reason, the flyer lists, is that boycotting Israel hurts the peace process by encouraging hard-liners and "does nothing to help the Palestinians improve their lives." Shoppers should buy both Israeli and Palestinian products as "an investment in peaceful coexistence." (Again, AFSI believes there is no "peace process" possible, especially since Hamas and Fatah have joined forces and rockets and missiles have been targeted at Israeli citizens by the hundreds. "Palestinians" will see an improvement in their lives when their leaders start caring for their people, rather than lining their own pockets with European and U.S. funds.)
